Cassie, Michelle and me!

Okay, so I'm backtracking a little...I can't seem to get over my Hawaii trip...it was just so fun! Anyway, I didn't have this picture at the time and it definitely had to make the blog. We had just gotten there and of course we were so excited to go to the beach and get in the water. We were standing there in the water together waiting for Cam (Michelle's husband) to take our picture. We kept telling him "hurry up" because the water wasn't exactly calm, and he kept telling us to hold on. All of a sudden he says "OK smile"....and about a millisecond later that huge wave you can see right behind us, crashed down on us and completely knocked us all down...Cassie and I even tumbled up the beach. We had no clue what was about to hit us...Cam, you really got us good! LOL!

Tagged!!
Okay, so my sister Amanda tagged me and I thought this looked fun. Lets see how much I can remember...I am just an old geezer now ya know.
What I was doing 10 years ago...Holy smokes I had just turned 21!! Wow what a time. Funny thing is, I'm such a good girl I didn't do anything crazy, I can hardly remember my 21st birthday...sad. What I do remember is that is was a happy, carefree time. I was getting ready to graduate from college. COLLEGE!!!! WHOA! and boy did I pick the right profession. I love what I do and still laugh my butt off at work every day.
5 Years ago...I was 26 years old and I had just met Austin, the man I would marry 2 1/2 years later. Ha Ha. I love him. What a fun time. I remember that year I went to New York for the first time with my aunt Nenka (truly a trip of a lifetime). It was also the first time I would hit New Orleans and experience alot of other firsts in my life. 26 was a year of finding myself and definitely reinventing myself...I even almost changed my name...oh man, remember the whole Riley thing Dylan? LOL. (If you don't know the story you should ask me sometime).
1 year ago...I had just turned 30...another stepping stone for sure. 30 is a funny age to be. The age you never thought you would be, but when you get here, you feel just as young as ever, but everyone expects you to act so mature all of a sudden. I love my life and have been so very blessed with an amazing husband, wonderful friends, a good job and the best family anyone could ask for.
Yesterday...I taught primary in the morning. I have these triplets in my class and they are adorable! They wear me out in the two hours I spend with them, I can only imagine how their mom feels. Then yesterday evening my entire family got together at my parents house. It was awesome...our family has grown so much throughout the years and it is unbelievable and fun when we're all together.
Today...Well, I got up at 4:45 am, as usual, and went to work for 10 hours straight today...an exceptionally long day. Then I just hung out with Austin for a while, went for a short run because I ran into an old patient of mine and ended up talking way more than running. But, I made up for it by doing ab ripper x when I got home.
5 favorite snax...anything chocolate, ice cream sandwiches, rice crispy treats, smoothies and hot tomales.
5 favorite books...Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, The Host and all three Lord of The Rings books. I know, I know, I'm a total geek.
5 places I would love to run away to...New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Cancun or The Virgin Islands...I'm a tropical paradise kind of girl.
5 bad habits...procrastinating, junk food, Dr Pepper mmmmmmmm, being lazy and popping my gum.
5 things I would never wear...skinny jeans (not too many people can pull these off, also, I've been there, done that), a nose ring, a swim suit without board shorts, a belly shirt (although I could totally rock it with these abs) and a tank top with my bra hanging out (tacky).
5 pet peeves...People who don't do their share, crappy singers who think they're good (at least I admit I suck), stopping at red lights at 5:45 a.m. when there is no traffic, people who go slow in the fast lane and people who use you.
5 things I like to do...Spend time with family, work out, shop, snow board and wake board.
5 favorite TV shows...Everybody loves Raymond, King of Queens, Smallville, Gossip Girl and Supernatural.
5 famous people I would like to meet...hmmmm, I dunno, I'll have to ponder it. I don't really care about famous people. Stephenie Meyer for sure!! Ellen, cause she is so dang funny.
5 people I tag...the only 5 people I know who haven't done this yet...Kristen, Cory, Emily, Michelle and Heather.

Gina's big debut!!!!
Cabin Fun
Here it is...the Zoll family cabin (my sister, Amanda's in-laws). 10,000 sq. feet in fairview and never a dull moment at this place. We are so fortunate to be able to use it a couple of times a year. Thanks Amanda and Wade!!!!!!
Here are the pool table, fusball (Idunno how to spell it) and the theater room!
Here are the two halves of the kitchen...it's too big to take a picture of the whole thing.
Amanda plays on the rope swing in the huge play room...
SPOILED I TELL YA!!! WE LOVE IT!

It's almost been 2 months since Hawaii and the summer is half over!!! I can hardly believe it. We've done so much this summer already. We've been to Vegas for a weekend and made it down to the fairview cabin as well as spent tons of time with family and friends. I look forward to what the rest of summer holds. The weather has been hot, but amazing!! I love summer time. I just celebrated my 31st birthday on July 14th and just want to thank all of you for the happy wishes, treats and gifts. 31 isn't very exciting, just another year older, but I've had a great life and look forward to so many things. Austin surprised me with two dozen gorgeous yellow roses!! He also treated me to some spa treatments (my personal favorite thing) and a few cute new clothing items. I feel like a million bucks!!! One of the most exciting things though, is that he also surprised me by buying me a new pink and black WAKEBOARD and new life jacket to match!!!! How spoiled am I?
