Feeling Grateful...

I have so many new pictures to post of this summer, but it will have to wait until I have time to organize them all...I have more important things to discuss...
I was just out for a run, and that's when I have all my major epiphanies...well, running and the dentist chair but that's a whole nother story...ha ha, but I digress. As I was saying, I was out for a run and I always get to thinking about all the things I have going on in my life at the moment. There's just something about the fresh air, the adrenaline, the music flowing through my headphones and nature all around that helps me clear my head and sometimes (not always) helps me to figure out solutions to my problems or at least gives me a renewed sense of strength and fight to overcome anything. Today I was thinking about how good life has been lately, not perfect heaven knows!!!!, but good, and just the other day a big wall was thrown up in our way. It was a tough day and has been stressful since. The best part about it is...I still can't complain. I have had a few months now where I have had it so good. Sometimes we are given these wedges and walls just as everything is cruising along great to remind us (me) that we need to give thanks when times are good instead of just expecting things to be good and work out how we want them to ( boy wouldn't that be nice). I don't usually get all religious on the blog but I want my future kids (who will hopefully someday read this) to know that I truly do believe that everything is in the Lord's hands and everything is on His time. I just need to be reminded of that once in a while. I know it sounds cheesy and cliche but I know we are given trials to teach us and to help us appreciate the good times even more. I love my husband, my family and my friends, you are my support system and I am blessed forever for having such loving people in my life.
Yes, I know, very deep for just a 4 mile run but you guys wouldn't believe what I come up with out there. Maybe I'll start a thing and blog after I have a "moment" while running. awww.
